With beautiful views of the surrounding Devon countryside, this working organic farm is the ideal place to stay whether it’s a family holiday, a quiet weekend break or a few days away from it all.
The accommodation in yurts is furnished to give a cosy rustic feel with comfortable beds, rugs, cushions, chairs and storage.
A central wood burning stove will help to keep the yurt warm and snug.
Each yurt is positioned in its own secluded spot with plenty of space and privacy and has its own outdoor seating area with barbecue facilities.
Guests are encouraged to explore the farm with a trail leading down to the river, along the old drovers road and through herb rich meadows.
There are plenty of quiet spots ideal for a picnic, plenty of animals to see and if you want to get involved you can help collect the eggs or herd the geese.
Nearby is a camping barn with toilets and a shower. Hot water is provided by solar panels on the barn roof which also generates the electricity for the barn.
Also in the barn is a fully equipped kitchen with each yurt allocated its own fridge.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a snug room with a wood burner, sofas and chairs where you can relax and unwind.
Here you will find information about the farm, surrounding area, things to do and see and can browse a collection of maps and guides to help plan local walks and excursions.
The northern edge of Dartmoor is close by and great for hiking, horse riding, cycling or just exploring the dramatic landscape of the moor.
Exeter is only 15 miles east and has plenty to offer including the cathedral and historic quayside. Haldon forest park close to Exeter offers walks, mountain biking and the Go Ape high wire forest adventure.
