Our shepherd’s hut stands in a meadow situated on the edge of our newly planted woodland, with views of the rolling countryside.

Perfect for romance, relaxation or bed & breakfast with a difference!

The shepherd’s hut is ecologically friendly, step back in time to the days of simplicity, no electricity, television or internet, instead sit on the veranda and watch the sunset and wildlife.

Enjoy the wood burning stove for those cosy evenings, a built-in bed with luxury linen, battery operated lanterns for ambient lighting and a camping stove for simple meals.

Nearby there is a smaller hut  housing a camping toilet and gas powered shower.

Alternatively guests can use the WC in the old dairy next to the farm house.

The shepherd’s hut is ideally situated near the beautiful riverside hamlet of Milldale, Dovedale and Tissington Trail in the heart of the Peak District, making us an excellent base for walking and cycling.

We are within easy distance of many popular attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, Matlock Bath and the market towns of Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell all within a 14 mile radius.
