Protected by mature trees and surrounded by a meadow at Lombard Farm in Cornwall, this large Mongolian yurt has plenty of space to sleep up to five people, plus a cot, in one double bed and three single futons.

Built by a local craftsman, the solid tent type structure sits on a raised wooden base and comes well equipped with an area for cooking, plus a solid wooden dining table with seating for up to six.

Outside there is a BBQ area, wooden picnic bench, and a large sink with water suitable for drinking.

The farm is also the setting for two stylish self-catering cottages where all guests, including those staying in the yurt, can enjoy the shared use of a large communal multi-purpose space called The Link.
