Nestled in an old cider apple orchard at the end of a no-through lane, stands this fully restored gypsy caravan available for romantic short breaks in the tranquility of the beautiful Somerset countryside.
Facilities are basic but comfortable. You will sleep in the bow top wagon in a small but cosy double bed.
Bed linen, towels and utensils are provided as is some basic crockery. Fuel for the fires can be purchased nearby.
Cooking is generally done on the camp fire but, for 2010, there is also the provision of a 1970s showman’s trailer with gas cooker, fridge and a fire for days when the weather is not so kind.
Gas and mains electricity is available in the trailer.
Guests will receive a modest welcome pack of eggs, local sausages, milk, tea, coffee and a litre of local cider.
Enjoy the timeless peace of the surroundings or visit some of the many fascinating, beautiful and historic places this part of Somerset has to offer.
