Situated in a stunningly beautiful and remarkably remote location in the heart of the Dyfi Forest, Eco Retreats is the ideal place to escape the pressures of the outside world and find some space to reconnect to nature, to your loved ones and to yourself.
About four and a half miles down a well-surfaced forest track you can really forget the distractions of life and just enjoy the lovely surroundings and simple but comfortable living in your tipi or yurt.
The site is part of a 1,300 acre organic farm consisting of meadows, mature oak woods, rivers, and hills.
With open countryside stretching for miles around, there’s plenty to do and see in the area if you want to venture away from the site.
The tipis and yurts are comfortably furnished, wherever possible with organic and fair trade or locally sourced furnishings and materials.
The log-burning stoves ensure that the space is cosy even when it’s chilly outside.
Each tipi or yurt has its own toilet and shower unit and is situated in its own secluded spot so you can really make the most of the peace and quiet.
Most of our guests are couples but we’re also very happy to welcome families – we find that children really enjoy the freedom of being able to play in such beautiful surroundings.
Prices for the full package include a healing session for two, an evening meditation session, tickets for the nearby Centre for Alternative Technology and an organic welcome hamper.
Please note, the basic package comes without these extras.
As well as the Centre for Alternative Technology there’s King Arthur’s Labyrinth and Corris Craft Centre just up the road. Cadair Idris, one of Wales’ highest and impressive peaks is nearby, and the beaches of Aberdyfi and Ynyslas are a short drive away.
