Set within 30 acres of private meadows and woodland, family-run Cuckoo Down Farm is a haven of tranquility in the east Devon countryside.
The spacious luxury yurts are cosily furnished with double beds, carpets, rugs, cushions, sofas and a woodburning stove.
Each yurt has its own compost loo, kitchen and standpipe of fresh drinking water within 15 feet of the tent.
All bedlinen is provided and a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome you.
Each yurt kitchen has a bottled gas stove with two rings and a grill, crockery, glassware and cutlery all provided.
Just a short walk away from the yurts is a shared bathroom with hot showers.
Each yurt has its own campfire with all firewood included in the cost.
The farm has been in the same family for 50 years and is very unspoilt with small fields, tall hedges, a three-acre bluebell wood and pretty stream.
For parents, the farm is a playground for children. They can play on the swings in the woods, dam the stream and play hide and seek in the long grass.
There is also space for cricket, rounders, football, bike-riding and tree-climbing.
Although situated in traditional rural East Devon, the yurt camp is only 20 minutes from the sea at Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe.
Cuckoo Down Farm is a three hour drive from London and the South East.
