Comfy bell tent camping on the tiny Hebridean island of Canna off the west coast of Scotland

Currently in the care of the National Trust for Scotland, the Isle of Canna in the Inner Hebrides is home to only 19 people and is the furthest of the Small Isles from the Scottish mainland.

For the first time, you can now enjoy comfortable camping in the form of this luxuriously appointed bell tent on the island, complete with woodburning stove, cooker and solar lighting.

The bell tent offers a cosy and hassle free way of staying in the great outdoors.

This spacious tent can comfortably sleep a family of 4 in one double and two single futons. An extra mattress or travel cot can be provided upon request.

The bell tent is a design classic that has probably sheltered more people than any other tent in history.

Made of waterproof and flame-retardant heavyweight canvas, which drapes down from a central pole held tight by guy ropes, its classic style is beautiful to behold.

When the weather is warm, you can roll up the sides and the bell tent just seems to float in the air.

When its a bit chilly, snuggle down in front of the Pipsqueak stove for a hot cuppa!

Renowned for its bird life, including sea eagles, golden eagles and puffins, the Isle of Canna is also inhabited by a number of rare butterfly species.

Tiers of basalt pillars rise over the eastern half of the island and sea cliffs dominate its northern shore.

In the nearby waters one can spot dolphins, basking sharks, minke whales and, occasionally, orcas.

Features include:

1 large bell tent

Futon sofabeds (1 double; 2 singles)

Woodburning stove

Wood provided

Double gas burner for cooking

Utensils, cutlery and crockery

Water, washing up, shower and toilet facilities nearby
