“Wake up to breathtaking views of the Mawddach Estuary and mountains at this cool camping site in Snowdonia National Park.”

Description of Graig Wen

The perfect wild glamping escape, Graig Wen is in a spectacular setting in Snowdonia National Park.

Choose from a traditional yurt and romantic eco-Caban sleeping 2, larger yurt sleeping 2 – 5, two new pop-up yurts sleeping 2 – 4 or bell tent sleeping 2 – 4.

Our site is regularly featured in the Cool Camping guides and national media as one of the best in Wales.

In 2016 we won North Wales Best Glamping, Camping, Caravan Site.

Enjoy different glamping experiences depending on the time of year.

In summer stay in a secluded silver birch glade separate from the rest of our small camp site but close to the washing facilities or try the remote wild glamping location.

During the colder months, our two pop-up yurts are available for winter glamping with electricity and washing facilities practically en suite.

We also have B & B and holiday cottage accommodation on site if you have non-glamping friends who wish to join you!

There is direct access through 45 acres of wild woods and fields to the flat cycle path along the beautiful Mawddach estuary, with sandy beaches, pubs and cafes within an hours walk.

You can hike up Cadair Idris, the mountain just behind us, wander along the estuary to waterfalls or take the steam train up Snowdon.

Zip World, Harlech Castle and Portmeirion are within 40 minutes drive.

Children love the freedom to explore the large site and make dens.

For romantic couples Graig Wen provides a tranquil escape.
