“Various glamping options on a smallholding near Carmarthen, in a lovely location with adventure and comfort combined.”

Description of Cwm Ty Coed

Cwm Ty Coed is situated in a secluded meadow on our 30 acre smallholding nestled in the Carmarthenshire countryside.

The camping field is bordered by woodland and commands lovely views.

The eight exclusive glamping pitches are secluded from each other but can be pitched together for groups of family and friends.

Each pitch has its own outdoor fire pit, picnic table and barbecue.

We wish to create a sense of wild camping but also to offer a degree of comfort not usually associated with life under canvas.

Each tent/tipi is attractively and comfortably furnished with either a log burning stove or fire bowl for extra warmth should the nights be cool.

Every pitch has its own well equipped, covered camp kitchen with gas hob, picnic table and chiminea making cooking and dining easy and enjoyable whatever the weather.

There is plenty of space to relax with hammocks and deck chairs ready to make the most of the sunshine.

Woodland walks and swings are dotted about and there is even a zip wire.

A log cabin provides a cosy communal space with log burning stove, comfy sofas, kitchen and table tennis.

Compost toilets and gas powered showers are situated in the camping field. Each pitch has filtered spring water piped to it.

Popular outdoor ‘cinema’ can be provided by request.

Groups are very welcome.

Please ask us about our pet policy.

Just three miles from the market town of Carmarthen with its excellent shopping, restaurants and farmer’s markets, we are well placed for the many attractions of beautiful West Wales.

The nearest beach is only eight miles away.
