“Tipi and bell tent glamping situated at the shady forest peninsula of two rivers inside a National Park in Northern Portugal.”

Description of Lima Escape

Looking for the ideal way to share unforgettable moments? Wishing to be awaken by the sound of birds and the fresh breeze blowing from the Lima River? Longing for a sweet fatigue after a walk through the breath-taking landscapes of the Peneda-Gers National Park, member of PAN-Parks?

Lima Escape has prepared a nice glamping holiday package to respond to all your demands!

The Camping site explored by Lima Escape was founded in 1998 and is located at the peninsula of the rivers Lima and Tamente, inside the Peneda-Geres National Park in the place called Entre Ambos-os-Rios (EAOR – Portuguese name for between the two rivers), Ponte da Barca in the district of Viana do Castelo, Northern Portugal.

The camping site is situated in a protected area and has the surrounding landscapes suffered little impact by human beings, as demanded by the canons of the Nature Tourism.

Nearby are located the Castle and Dam of Lindoso, So Bento de Ermelo Monastery, famous for its tasty oranges, autentic Soajo village and beautiful mountain ranges with waterfalls and natural lakes.

The Glamping tents are equipped to arrange your escape to nature in the ambience of oriental style and they are full of cushions and puffs.

Every tent has the wooden terrace with folding chairs and small table where you can stay at the ambience of peace and privacy listening to the sounds of nature, enjoying the stunning view to the river Lima and making yourself filling in a full harmony with the earth.

On site we have a restaurant called “Adega do Artur” (Arthur’s Cellar) offering a wide choice of quality typical dishes.

It’s a nice and cosy space with a large terrace, where customers can taste good regional meats, traditional Portuguese Cod fish (Bacalhau), Octopus as well as some vegetarian dishes and kids’ menu.
