Description of Norfolk Glamping
Norfolk Glamping and are based at Yaxham Waters near Dereham in Norfolk.
We are on a campsite but in our own private area.
Close by there is a communal toilet and shower block, the campsite also has a fishing pond offering Free Fishing
A very nice Licensed Cafe/Restaurant with lots of Homemade food and a Farm Shop next door. A children’s play area including sand pit.
On this site we have three authentic Mongolian 18 foot yurts, 1 sleeps six and 2 sleep five.
We also have a 1960s Railway Goods Carriage that can sleep up to four sharing it is small but still bigger than a Shepherds Hut, they are fully fitted out with a well equipped kitchen area, real beds and futons, a wood burner and oil filled radiators for the chillier evenings, electric points to charge phones etc, with sheepskin rugs and throws, tealight lanterns, and solar lighting for the romantic touch, a barbeque and fire pit outside to enjoy the lovely summer evenings.
We aim to provide as much inside our yurts and carriage as we can but we ask our guests to bring their own duvet, sleeping bags, pillows, towels and tea towels.
Also remember to bring torches, wellies for the British weather plus your own food and provisions.
There is a farm shop and cafe on site should you forget to bring certain items.
Norfolk Glamping and is located in the heart of Norfolk, within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads, Bewilderwood, the coast with its beautiful beaches and the fine city of Norwich.
There are many other interesting towns, villages and historic houses such as Sandringham, Blickling and Holkham Hall plus many local attractions within a few miles.
