Description of Mountain Sky
The two luxury safari tents, each sleep up to six, are fabulously located at Ash Park Farm and have marvellous views over the stunning Sperrin Mountains.
A stay at one of these tents offers all the charms of camping but with those cosy treats that make it a luxury glamping experience.
With a wooden floor, wood burning stove, comfy sofa and beds with duvets and pillows, oil lamps and an inside flushing loo you will feel very much at home.
The bedrooms are sectioned off, one a king size bed and another with bunk beds (or twin), and in the corner of the living area a cupboard opens up to reveal a small double bed which the children will be desperate to sleep in and in daytime becomes a handy den.
Campfires outside your tent allow you to share the evening with the stars, toasting marshmallows and taking in the country air.
The picturesque 600 acre farm is home to a beef suckler herd, breeding sheep, chickens and sheep dogs and an abundance of wildlife with wild bird cover, woodland, bog, ancient hedgerow and sod banks.
You will find many birds, squirrels, rabbits, owls and foxes as well as wild flowers and berries for foraging.
The River Owenbeg runs through the farm and if you are lucky you may even catch a brown trout!
The beaches in the area are truly magnificent.
Visit the world famous Giants Causeway where you can learn about the legend of Finn Mcoll.
Vibrant Belfast and the famous Titanic Exhibition is an hour away and the ancient city of Derry is 25 minutes away.
