Description of Woodlandfun Yurts
Nestled in a quiet valley in the East Devon countryside is Woodlandfun Yurt Campsite.
Originally a Forest School, we have expanded our business to include an exciting new Glamping site, offering long weekend breaks, Friday 3pm to Monday 11am, in our beautiful surroundings.
For those who have visited us in the past, this is an eagerly awaited addition to our site.
We have two 14ft yurts on raised desk bases, with a veranda, balcony and chiminea, perfect for sitting under starry skies by the warmth of a fire.
Each yurt has been lavishly decorated and furnished with a woodburner and comfy beds, ensuring you get a great nights sleep under canvas.
We offer an extensive outdoor kitchen barn complete with wood burning range, gas burners, barbecues and a clay pizza oven.
There is plenty of space and a private food storage for each yurt.
Everything you need to get creative in the kitchen is supplied for you, so it’s goodbye to boring burgers!
There is a private compost toilet assigned to each yurt.
The shower hut is shared with the other yurts.
Complimentary handmade soap is provided for you in your welcome basket. It’s kind to you and to the environment!
We are passionate about the outdoors and the conservation of our countryside and offer fun and active workshops in Bushcraft and Forest School.
These are great for getting you back to nature and learning new skills.
The local village of Stoke Canon is a walk through the woods and the historic city of Exeter just 3 miles out.
