Description of Perhaver Shepherd’s Hut
Perhaver Shepherd’s Hut must be one of the most beautifully positioned anywhere on the Cornish coast and far beyond.
The view is uncomplicated – just the sea and the sky. The hut is set on the large lawn at Perhaver House, looking straight out to sea at Gorran Haven in Cornwall.
It is wonderfully atmospheric at all times of the year. Superb as a glamping retreat in wild winter and an incomparable summer holiday location.
Fitted out to a standard worthy of its perfect view.
At one end of the hut is a large, comfortable double bed with lots of cushions and an unbroken view of sea to the far horizon. A TV and DVD player at foot of bed.
There is a well planned kitchen and dining area with hob, small oven, microwave, and fridge.
Breakfast bar with tall stools and small fold down table with 2 chairs is dining table for two.
A smart shower room and WC.
The space has been used with elegant economy using fine natural materials. Thick natural oak shelves and work surface, and vintage style wooden board flooring all reflect the brilliant natural setting.
There is under-floor heating, Wi-Fi, and lots of books. It is cosy, with excellent insulation & double-glazing.
The double doors can be opened to include the curved wooden deck as part of the living space.
Perfect place for: a love affair, nature watching, writing a novel. Popping to the pub for St Austell ales, wandering along the South Cornish cliff path.
The cliff path is behind the house. The beach is 8 minutes walk.
