“Hassle-free camping in traditional bell tents, set on a farm just three miles away from the dramatic Jurassic Coast. ”

Description of Old Bidlake Farm

Enjoy hassle-free glamping in bell tents, set on a farm in Dorset’s tranquil Marshwood Vale, three miles from the dramatic Jurassic Coast.

Old Bidlake Farm in Dorset gives you the back to nature experience of real camping but with plenty of creature comforts.

Four traditional canvas bell tents, sit sheltered by hedges and wildflowers in a one acre section of pasture field, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The bell tents are 5 metres in diameter and furnished with vintage flair, providing generous accommodation for up to a family of five.

It is possible to hire the entire site for exclusive use, perfect for families wanting to holiday together.

Far away from any roads, children are free to run wild, ride bikes or go pony trekking at the riding stables next door, whilst you sit back and unwind.

Don’t worry that the price to pay for this rural idyll will be a scarcity of culture and activity.

We are two miles from the vibrant market town of Bridport, a hub for art, music and food lovers and just a ten minute drive to the charming non-commercial pebble beach at Eypes Mouth.

Elegant Lyme Regis with its famous 13th Century Cobb Harbour, the fossil centre at Charmouth Beach, the Swannery at Abbotsbury or fishing trips at West Bay are all within easy reach.

There are many opportunities to enjoy fantastic food in the area, from buying local produce at the markets and prize-winning farm shops, to dining out at restaurants with national acclaim, such as The Riverside in West Bay and the The Hive Beach Cafe at Burton Bradstock.
