At Refugio Marnes you can stay in this real Bedouin tent, which has been luxuriously decorated for a comfortable and original holiday you will not easily forget.

The spacious tent measures 10 x 5 metres and stands over a solid stone platform.

Equipped with a kitchen area and private bathroom it will easily accommodate four people.

There are no neighbours and you can enjoy a spacious area of 12 hectares of your own terrain to stroll around.

So, a Bedouin tent in Spain? Not so strange when you realise that this area of Spain has been part of the Arabian world for more than 1000 years.

The Spanish language reminds us of this, the very Spanish word ‘Olé’ for example is from the Arab word ‘Allah’ and also in names of villages and cities you can find the Arabian roots.

Refugio Marnes is situated inland in the province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca, 15 minutes by car from the main road from Benissa to Calpe and approximately 55 minutes to Alicante.

Valencia lies in the opposite direction, approximately 1 hour’s drive north.

The nearest beaches can be reached in 30 minutes by car.

Features include:

  • 1 spacious Bedouin tent
  • Real beds and bedding
  • Lounge area
  • Well equipped Kitchen area
  • Bathroom
