Located in the middle of a forest with hills and lakes, Halvorseth Camping is the first campsite in Norway to offer glamping in their two hand-built yurts.
The yurts are a modern version of the traditional Mongolian yurt, but adjusted to suit the northern European climate.
They both have wooden floors and are fully equipped with everything you need including: woodburning stove, kitchen with a fridge, a flat screen TV with DVD player, and even the shower and toilet facilities are built inside.
Each yurt can sleep 4 people, with 2 beds on the first floor, and 2 beds on the ground floor.
Renting both yurts together can provide accommodation for up to 8 people making them ideal for larger groups, or more than one family.
Although the yurts are close to each other their privacy is maintained.
Breakfast and dinner service can be offered at an extra charge.
Situated in the town of Prestfoss in Sigdal, just two hours from the main Oslo airports, this a chance to experience Norway in a different way: back to nature but with comfortable facilities and a lot of privacy.
Features include:
