Independent and self-contained yurt in private secluded woodland within the rugged beauty of the Pyrenees
Situated in a secluded part of a private 45 acre woodland, Ecofinca is a spacious yurt offering an exclusive experience in the rugged wilds of the Spanish Pyrenees.
Comfortably furnished with its own solar energy supply, the yurt is tranquil and close to nature – the perfect backdrop for a low impact holiday.
The yurt is spacious enough to accommodate up to four people in one double and two single beds.
It is fully independent and self-contained with its own solar power, water, shower and compost toilet.
On a platform alongside the yurt is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
Throughout the season Ecofinca will be offering the following courses…
- Ecological Gardening: compost making, irrigation, permaculture and the luna cycle.
- Arts and Crafts: basic drawing and composition, wool rug and felt making with all materials provided.
- An introduction to Low Impact living: based on our experience here on Las Guardias, including: water management, compost toilets, solar showers, solar power, reclaiming and re-using materials, building basic infrastructure, sustainable woodland management and small scale timber production.

Located close to the regional capital Graus, Ecofinca is within easy reach of lakes, mountains and the national parks.
Within walking distance you can explore a number of abandoned villages, walking along lanes, by rivers and through woodland rich in flora and fauna.
Vultures and other birds of prey can often be seen, so too the footprints of fox, badger, deer and wild boar.
