Situated in 10 hectares of beautifully landscaped terrain, Camping Les Ormes offers space, in fact, lots of space!
Apart from their regular campsite with 100 spacious pitches, they also offer luxury camping in the choice of four different models and sizes of safari-style tents
The luxury tents are all tastefully decorated with handmade furniture, brocante and sprung beds. Comfort, style and atmosphere are the keywords used to describe the glamping experience at Camping Les Ormes.
This in combination with a very good restaurant, located in the barn of an 18th century farmhouse along with a children-only restaurant providing fun for the kids and time for a romantic dinner for the parents.
A large swimming pool and lots of other facilities are the other ingredients for a nice and relaxing stay.
On site there is a tennis court, a small fishing lake, a small animal park, massages, yoga, a petanque court. Weekly trips are organised such as a canoe trip on the Dordogne as well as regular visits to the vineyards of nearby Bergerac.
Within 500m of the site is an 18 hole golf-rustique course.
The region, just south of the Dordogne, is not overrun with tourists. Beautiful rolling hills, unspoilt and honest French Bastide towns such as Monpazier, Villeréal and Monflanquin with their authentic markets are nearby.
It is a good base to enjoy activities such as walking, cycling and mountain biking.
As the south-west of France is famous for its cuisine, there is a plethora of very easy to find good restaurants in the area, with a Michelin starrred restaurant only 8 km away.
In May, June and September it is possible to book an arrangement in the luxury tents including breakfast and dinner. There is also pool bar serving snacks and beverages.
